The University of Kentucky is seeking an Accountant Financial Analyst Senior to join the University Financial Services team.
This position plays a key role in supporting the university’s fiduciary and stewardship responsibilities related to endowments, trusts, and gift accounting. The role provides technical financial expertise, manages critical reporting and accounting functions, supports campus stakeholders, and helps ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and effective administration of endowed funds and charitable giving programs.
Strong stewardship of endowments, trusts, and gift assets is essential to supporting the university’s financial responsibilities and long-term objectives. This role helps ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and effective management of resources that benefit colleges, programs, and initiatives across campus.
As reporting requirements, financial oversight expectations, and philanthropic activity continue to evolve, this position provides critical expertise and support to campus partners while helping improve processes, strengthen accountability, and maintain the integrity of financial data.
Proficiency in MS Windows applications, SAP experience, verbal and written communication skills, accounting concepts and practices.
