Job Summary

Support Endowment Stewardship and Financial Reporting Across the University

The University of Kentucky is seeking an Accountant Financial Analyst, Associate to join the University Financial Services team.

This position supports the university’s fiduciary and stewardship responsibilities related to endowments, trusts, and gift accounting. The role provides technical assistance to campus partners, maintains endowment and gift accounting systems, prepares reconciliations and financial reports, and helps ensure the accuracy of endowment and trust records that support university operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide guidance and technical support to business officers, development officers, and academic leaders on endowment accounting policies, procedures, forms, and processes.
• Review, establish, update, and maintain endowment accounts in SAP while ensuring the accuracy of endowment agreements and related data.
• Complete monthly endowment accounting activities, account reconciliations, journal vouchers, web cash movements, and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Monitor and maintain the Endowment and Gift Accounting Tracking System ( EGATS ), including resolving system validations, processing updates, maintaining records, and supporting users.
• Assist with the administration, accounting, reporting, and payment processes related to charitable trusts and gift annuities.
• Prepare assigned schedules, accruals, reports, surveys, and year-end activities to support state, management, and audit reporting requirements.
• Collaborate on special projects and initiatives as assigned by University Financial Services leadership.
