Job summary

Kforce's client in the Hartford, CT area is seeking a Construction Project Accountant. You will perform month-end closing, job costing, Work in Progress, and profitability reporting, while preparing routine accounting records for the Executive team.

The role emphasizes accuracy and timely closing to support strategic decisions. Required: 2+ years in Construction/Engineering/Architectural accounting; experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) or Deltek; ability to work a hybrid schedule.

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare year end data and journal entries for tax compliance
• Assist with supporting documentation for the CPA firm

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience within the Construction/Engineering/Architectural industry
• Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) or Deltek Software
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
