Zusammenfassung

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and manage the end-to-end lease accounting process. You will work with stakeholders, ensure accurate reporting, and support audits and SOX compliance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience, with ASC 842 experience preferred. Remote options are available for qualified candidates in select states.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university focusing in Accounting, or Financial Accounting; and a minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred

• Develops detailed understanding of the end-to-end process of lease accounting, including related stakeholders, systems, accounting processes, and internal controls that support internal and external reporting.
• Proactively works on preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries in support of lease accounting.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts; Investigates and resolves variances on a timely basis.
• Supports assigned internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by department leadership.
• Proactively keeps abreast of accounting, reporting and disclosure standards promulgated by the FASB, SEC and PCAOB that affect internal accounting and reporting practices.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university focusing in Accounting, or Financial Accounting; and a minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting and/or corporate accounting environment.
