Accountant IV for a global pharmaceutical company – 100% Remote (Must be able to work EST hours).

What would I be doing?

• Accountable for monthly closing procedures for respective areas by:
• Understanding the areas, including any relevant legal agreements to ensure accurate financial system presentations, obtaining relevant financial information from business partners, analyzing the impacts to the financial statements, preparing journal entries in SAP/WinShuttle including balance sheet analysis and reconciliation.
• Providing quarterly reporting to Japan parent company related to footnote disclosure.
• Establishing best practices surrounding controls and performing all related JSOX controls.

What would make me qualified?

• SAP proficiency is required.
• Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running with little guidance.
• Candidate should have 4-6 years of experience. No pharma experience required.
