Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in accountancy, finance, business or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years' experience in finance operations, accounting, payments processing or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliation processes and reporting practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Meticulous and accurate in handling records.

Responsibilities

  • Review supporting documentation and ensure records are properly maintained.
  • Assist in resolving payment and operational issues.
  • Perform reviews of financial transactions and supporting records.

  • Identify exceptions and assist in escalating issues where necessary.
  • Support audit reviews and the preparation of required documentation.
  • Perform and review reconciliations between operational and financial records.
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.

About the role

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a structured environment, handling financial transactions, monitoring fund utilisation, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and support operational excellence through effective financial management, process improvements, and strong governance practices.
