Job summary

Sword Health is seeking a Senior Accountant - General Ledger to own the month-end close, ensure balance sheet integrity, and support consolidated reporting in a multi-entity, international environment.

You will review reconciliations, manage FX remeasurement, assist with group consolidation, and collaborate with the Assistant Controller to deliver a clean T+5 close. Prior IFRS/US GAAP experience and NetSuite proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with GL close ownership or senior close execution.
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Exposure to group consolidation concepts (eliminations, FX).
• Strong attention to detail with a reviewer mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively under close deadlines.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel for reporting.

Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant - General Ledger to play a critical role in the monthly close and financial reporting process. This role is responsible for executing and reviewing core GL activities, ensuring balance sheet integrity, and supporting consolidated reporting in a multi-entity, international environment. The Senior Accountant - GL is a key pillar of the close engine and works closely with the Assistant Controller to deliver a clean, predictable T+5 close.
