Job summary

Levare in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support the Finance team. The role focuses on reviewing records, month-end close, tax analyses, payroll processing, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

You will evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation, and cost control activities, and prepare monthly trial balances and supporting reports. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with at least 3 years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience maintaining capital expenditures, depreciation, and financial statements.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and maintain records of capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, and financial statements.
• Analyze and prepare monthly sales tax reports in compliance with laws.
• Analyze and prepare annual property tax reports in compliance with laws.
• Process payroll.
• Assist with financial functions including budgeting, planning, taxes, consolidations, and control.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Complete month-end close process.
• Prepare and update monthly trial balance reports and reconciliations.
• Inventory item tailoring maintenance, costing, location, and availability.
• Prepare financial analyses for regional operations and management; provide commentary and corrective actions.
• Support regional audits of accounts, assets, and internal controls.
• Backup for core processes and training of owners (Payroll, Taxes, Invoicing, AP, AR, Banking).
• Prepare daily cash report for HQ Treasury.
• Consult with management on financial policies and applications.
• Special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested.

Job description

Position Objective: Support the Finance Team in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Group.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and maintain all records of capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit planning, operating records and financial statements
• Analyze and prepare monthly sales tax reports in compliance with all state, city, county and parish laws
• Analyze and prepare annual property tax reports in compliance with all state, city, county and parish laws
• Process payroll
• Assist organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidations, cost control and project control
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Complete month-end close process
• Prepare and update monthly trial balance supporting reports and reconciliations
• Inventory item tailoring maintenance and troubleshooting, including costing, location, and availability
• Prepare financial analyses of regional operations for guidance of regional and corporate management, including, but not limited to, monthly commentary, analysis of actual vs. planned results, and recommendations for corrective actions
• Arrange & support regional audits of company's accounts, physical assets, and internal controls
• Backup for mission critical business processes and training of primary process owners, including, but not limited to: Payroll, Sales Tax, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Banking Administration, P-Card Administration, etc.
• Prepare daily cash report for HQ Treasury Department
• Consult with management on financial policies, procedures and applications
• Special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested by Management

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting; in a manufacturing organization preferred

Skills:

• Ability to follow the company's IMS (in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) policies and procedures at all times
• Proficient with MS Office Suite with advanced Excel analysis skills (i.e. Vlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Good oral and written communication and analytical skills
• Exhibit an exceptional standard of quality which includes attention to detail, organization and accountability for excellent results
• Detail oriented with strong analytical capabilities
• Proactive in investigating and resolving differences identified during reconciliation processes
