The Accountant will report directly to the NAM Business Unit Controller.**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Responsible for timely completion of Month-end close process for multiple business units* Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliations* Assist in development of Budgets and Forecasts* Maintain local ERP general ledger and upload data in Crane Co financial consolidation system, HFM* Maintain Fixed Asset records, Capital Expenditure Requests and Audits* Monitor and report on inventory obsolescence and slow-moving items* Conduct special projects and analysis as requested by management* Manage 3rd party commission payments and rebates* Assist monthly financial statements* Assist with Sales and Use Tax**MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and promptly with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal.* Technology savvy.
