GEOTEK LLC in Stewartville, MN, is seeking an Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. This role supports a hybrid work location with at least 3 days on site.

You will perform financial statement analysis, variance analysis, and month-end close tasks, including prepaid expenses, commissions, interest, journal entries, and reconciliations, with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 4-year Accounting Bachelor degree required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred at minimum.
• Strong Excel skills and computer knowledge; accurate reporting.

• Variance Analysis and investigating financial account discrepancies.
• Month-end close procedures including prepaid expenses, commissions, interest, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Ad Hoc and independent project work as assigned.

• Backup to other accounting team members for daily and weekly tasks.

Brief Description

We are currently seeking an Accountant with experience in a manufacturing environment. GEOTEK is an internationally recognized designer, manufacturer, and distributor of reinforced fiberglass pultrusion products for the electric utility market. The position is located at the Corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility based in Stewartville, MN. Geotek supports a hybrid work location with at least 3 days on site.

Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Analysis such as Gross Margin and Sales Dashboard reporting
• Variance Analysis and investigating financial account discrepancies
• Month-end close procedures that include, but are not limited to, prepaid expenses, commissions, interest, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Ad Hoc and independent project work as assigned
• Documentation and account reconciliations for the year-end audit
• Backup to other accounting team members for daily and weekly tasks such as internal audit procedures, inventory and costing tracking, and other transactional items.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 4-year Accounting Bachelor degree required, 1-2 years of experience preferred at minimum.
• Strong computer knowledge and excellent skills in Excel are required
• Effective communication skills, oral and written, are essential as this position will work with customers, vendors, and colleagues across various departments
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task

The compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $95,000. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range represents the expected earning potential for this position within the current organizational budget and market conditions
