Location: Shreveport, LA
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Process payroll and monitor expenses as needed
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1–5 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
