Job summary

Yardi Systems in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks an experienced Accountant to oversee the general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, revenue reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced software environment.

You will analyze transactions, ensure GAAP compliance, assist with tax filings and audits, and collaborate across teams to drive accuracy and timely financial reporting. Hybrid work arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with foreign currency consolidations.
• Prior experience with internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Knowledge of global payroll regulation and accounting standards.
• Knowledge of database report writing.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query).
• Ability to interpret financial statements and multi-entity processes.

About the Role:

At Yardi, we're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Accountant to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial
operations. In this role, you'll manage key accounting functions including
general ledger activities, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable,
revenue reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You'll analyze
financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support
compliance with GAAP, global accounting standards, and company policies while
contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting.

As a valued member of our accounting team, you'll also
assist with tax filings, audits, contract and billing reviews, supplier invoice
processing, and projects that support business growth and operational
excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who

What You'll Do:

Maintain accurate financial records and support accounting
activities for a multi-entity environment in compliance with accounting
controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Analyze financial data and transactions using established
accounting principles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and financial
integrity.

Prepare timely and accurate financial reports that support
business operations, decision-making, and compliance objectives.

Perform a variety of general accounting and financial
reporting functions, with responsibilities focused on one or more specialized
accounting areas (Sales tax accounting, International GST and VAT taxes, International
accounting and payroll, Sales and use tax regulations and filing requirements).

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Five plus (5+) years of accounting experience
• Experience with foreign currency consolidations
• Prior experience with internal and external audits
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Knowledge of global payroll regulation and accounting
  standards
• Knowledge of database report writing
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Proficiency in 10-key and MS Office applications
• Advanced Excel skills using PivotTable and Power Query
• Understanding and ability to interpret financial statements
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy level
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
