Remington Seeds is seeking an energetic accounting professional to join our Finance Team as a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of experience. The role supports the Controller and Finance Team in US GAAP reporting, month‑end closings, and subsidiary accounting while driving continuous improvement and excellent service across the business.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, team player, and eager to learn, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and proficiency in Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/quarterly US GAAP close: journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Distribute location statements and coordinate with managers to resolve variances from budget or prior year.
• Lead accounting for a small subsidiary: AR/AP, monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Collaborate across administrative and operational teams to drive respect, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Remington Seeds is one of the largest third party seed producers in the world. We provide systems and services that deliver solutions in the production, processing and distribution of seed in multiple crops and regions around the world.

We are seeking an energetic and inquisitive accounting professional with one to three years of professional experience to join our Finance Team. The Staff Accountant will be given responsibilities commensurate with experience and will receive opportunities to develop new skills and learn the business enabling future growth. In return, the highest levels of customer service, teamwork, integrity, and mutual respect will be expected.

The Staff Accountant assists the Controller and the Finance Team in all aspects of financial accounting necessary to run a large, multi-location agricultural production business, culminating in monthly internal financial reporting and quarterly US GAAP-based financial reporting. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in monthly internal and quarterly US GAAP general ledger closings including journal entry preparation, workpaper detail and account reconciliations, and account variance analysis.
• Distribute location financial statements and work with location managers and staff to investigate differences compared to budget or prior year and make correcting journal entries as needed.
• Act as accounting lead for small subsidiary including invoice to cash activities, monthly journal entry preparation, workpaper detail and account reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, and monthly management reporting.
• Collaborate closely within administrative and operational team focused on respect, customer service, efficiency and continuous improvement.
