Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accountant to perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, including cash/accounts. You will handle month-end accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and support for AR/AP and audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong Excel skills, and proven analytical abilities in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract-to-hire onsite role based in Poway, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 25 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on general ledger accounting and reconciliations experience.
• Experience with month-end close, accruals, and expense recognition.
• Understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Familiarity with sales tax, AR/AP, and audit support.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
