ProMach MBF North America is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support month-end and year-end closes. The role reports to the Controller and helps drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 3-5+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and Infor Syteline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with concentration in accounting.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely results.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and key subledgers (AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets).
• Maintain GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Prepare standard weekly/monthly and ad-hoc internal reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and automation.
• Collaborate with operations, payroll, and shared services to resolve issues.

This role provides critical support to the Controller and Finance leadership, maintains compliance with accounting standards, and helps drive process improvements across the organization.
