Accountant
Salary: $95,000 – $105,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:
- Manage reinsurance accounting activities related to premiums, losses, recoveries, collateral, and cash allocations.
- Prepare, validate, and distribute treaty bordereaux and settlement reports.
- Process treaty and facultative premium and claims settlements and collections.
- Perform reconciliations between ceded balances and general ledger reports.
- Support quarterly and year‑end reporting requirements.
- Assist with audits, financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvement projects.
Qualifications for the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting, finance, insurance, or financial services experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
