Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking an Accountant (Mutual Funds), 12-Months Contract role for one of our Fortune 500 clients, at Milwaukee, WI (Onsite). Apply today for immediate consideration.

Hourly Pay: $27 to $32 W2

Description:

Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, including end-of-day net asset value calculations.
Prepare daily general ledger entries, reconcile prime broker/bank cash accounts, process advisor/portfolio management transactions, apply corporate actions, post expense accruals/payments, determine daily net asset values and mill rates, analyze/validate portfolio pricing, distribute information timely, and perform portfolio reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles in all Fund Accounting functions.

Top requirements:

Ability to work independently and in a team; strong organizational skills (handling 300+ emails daily); degree in Accounting/Finance.
Experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities.
