Job summary

The Staff Accountant at Armstrong Alternative Brand will apply accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data in support of agency-level financial functions. The role encompasses general ledgers, payables and receivables, billing and invoicing, revenue distribution, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include timely financial closing, accurate reporting, spend and variance analysis, and adherence to accounting policies at the plant level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance preferred.
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles.
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Job description

The Staff Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data. Additionally, they will be responsible for agency-level accounting functions, including, but not limited to general accounting, payables & receivables, financial reporting, spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, billing & invoicing, and forecasting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance preferred.
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
