Job summary

LHH in the Madison area seeks an Accountant to join a growing manufacturing team. This newly created role offers the chance to influence processes as the company expands through acquisitions.

You will partner with the Controller on month-end closes, analyze production costs, assist with budgeting, maintain fixed assets, and support inventory GL reconciliations while communicating with upper management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience REQUIRED.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management daily.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting for division.
• Maintain fixed asset registers.
• Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory.
