Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Minnesota is seeking an Accountant to keep financial operations running smoothly and support organizational decisions that help individuals with disabilities in our community.

This role emphasizes accurate payroll, AR/AP processing, GL reconciliation, and year-end reporting. Day shift, $22.00-$30.00/hr, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

3–5 years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills, plus familiarity with QuickBooks, are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll, including status changes, timesheet reviews, deductions, and tax filings.
• Verify payroll summaries for accuracy of payee, hours, deductions, and pay amounts.
• Maintain payroll-related spreadsheets (PLT, holiday worked, scheduled hours, benefits, 401k, etc.).
• Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchase orders.
• Reconcile the general ledger and all bank accounts monthly
• Perform all required year-end financial and reporting activities.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00/hr based on experience

Job Duties of an Accountant:
