Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking an Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting. You will work with the Corporate Controller to maintain records, assist with reporting, and improve processes in a defense tech environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities while learning new systems. Responsibilities include reconciliations, AP processing, financial tracking, and monthly/ quarterly

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience including internships or entry-level finance roles.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

The Role

Mach Industries is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities across the organization. This role will work closely with the Corporate Controller and broader operations team to maintain accurate financial records, support internal reporting, and assist with accounting processes.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop hands- on experience in a fast- paced defense technology environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, learning new systems quickly, and working collaboratively across departments.

You will support a wide range of accounting functions including reconciliations, invoice processing, financial tracking, reporting support, and general finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enter financial data within QuickBooks and internal accounting systems

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting finance or accounting operations within government contracting, aerospace, manufacturing, or defense environments
  • Familiarity with DCAA, FAR, or government accounting practices is preferred
  • Experience working with expense reporting, reconciliations, or financial tracking systems
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or project cost tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities
  • Self- starter capable of learning quickly and adapting to changing priorities
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling financial information
Additional Requirements
  • Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Pay Range

$75,000 - $95,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
