Job summary

Southwest Search is seeking a Staff OR Senior Accountant for a contract-to-hire role in Fort Worth, TX. The position is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and focuses on general ledger activities and high-volume accounting tasks.

Key duties include coding to the general ledger, reconciling bank and credit card activity across multiple entities, preparing Excel templates, and importing data into Sage Intacct, with attention to detail and strong accounting judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree not required; experience considered.

• Proficiency in Excel.

This is Fully Onsite (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM)

This position will focus heavily on general ledger coding, bank reconciliations, credit card transactions, and high-volume accounting activity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Code transactions accurately to the general ledger
• Code monthly credit card activity for multiple entities
• Complete monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Prepare Excel templates and import accounting data into Sage Intacct
• Review transactions, checks, credit cards, and expenses for coding errors

Qualifications:

A degree is not required for the Staff Accountant level and will be considered based on overall accounting experience.
