Job summary

TripleLift is seeking a detail-oriented mid-level Accountant to join the Finance team with hybrid remote options, located in Detroit, MI and New York, NY.

You will manage end-to-end payroll for 400+ employees across multiple entities, handle payroll tax filings, and support ASC 718 equity accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in tech or adtech.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with multi-state/international payroll.
• Familiarity with ASC 718 and equity platforms like Carta or Shareworks.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple entities and regions.
• Prepare payroll tax filings.
• Support equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.
• Process vendor invoices in Tipalti; review and code invoices; resolve discrepancies.
• Improve accounting processes; collaborate on compensation reporting.
• Support audits and assist with special projects.

Additional responsibilities include processing vendor invoices in Tipalti, reviewing and coding invoices, resolving discrepancies, improving accounting processes, collaborating with business partners on compensation reporting, supporting audits, and assisting with special projects. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in tech or adtech, strong GAAP knowledge, experience with multi-state/international payroll, familiarity with ASC 718 and equity platforms like Carta or Shareworks, proficiency in accounting software such as Sage IntAcct or NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. The position is full-time with hybrid remote work options, located in Detroit, MI and New York, NY.
