The South Carolina Coastal Conservation League is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare statements, maintain records, and support budgeting and grant reporting. This role requires adherence to GAAP for nonprofits and IRS 501(c)(3) requirements.
You will manage restricted and unrestricted funds, coordinate annual audits, reconcile donations with the donor database, and assist with forecasting.
Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization’s budgeting and grant reporting processes.

This is an office-based role with occasional meetings or events outside of normal business hours.
