Job summary

Jefferson Wells is seeking accounting professionals for contract roles, with most projects remote and some hybrid around the Philadelphia metro area.

W2 hourly rates range from $50 to $85, depending on experience and client requirements. The assignments cover month-end, close processes, reporting, audits, and budgeting, offering exposure to SAP and NetSuite.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with SAP and NetSuite.
• Advanced MS Excel with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Organize and update financial records as needed.
• Analyze transactions and prepare reports.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
• Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins.
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Participate in budgeting processes.
• Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status.
• Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns.

Jefferson Wells is looking to network with Accounting Professionals who are available for contract/consulting jobs. Most of these projects are remote, some hybrid and local to the metro Philadelphia market.
