Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accountant in Bedford, Ohio to own day-to-day accounting tasks within a collaborative team. You will manage AP/AR, apply payments, monitor receivables, and ensure accurate vendor matching with POs.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, experience in bookkeeping or similar accounting roles, and comfort with ERP systems and Excel. This position offers strong growth in a close-knit manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting education a plus.
• Experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting assistant roles preferred.
• Comfortable with accounting/ERP systems and learning new software.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, resolve discrepancies.
• Record customer deposits and apply payments to customer accounts.
• Monitor receivables and communicate with customers about past-due balances.
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and maintain documentation.
• Process payments and maintain organized accounting records (electronic and physical).
• Prepare and issue customer invoices as needed.
