Job summary

Palisades Holdings Inc. is seeking an Accountant with a diligent mindset to join our accounting team that supports a portfolio of high-end specialty alloy companies.

Under the supervision of the Controller, you will prepare financial statements and tax filings, reconcile accounts, assist in forecasts and audits, manage daily cash, and participate in internal controls. Occasional travel for inventory audits is possible as part of a dynamic, growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA preferred as a certification.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing accurate and timely financial statements.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts for monthly and year-end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts.
• Review financial reports with management.
• Prepare and participate in internal and external audits.
• Assist in the management of business tax accounts and tax filings.
• Conduct analyses for management.
• Daily cash management, set up ACHs/wires.
• Assist in special projects and ensure internal controls.
• Occasional travel for inventory audits.

We’reseeking an Accountant with a diligent mindset to join our accounting team thatprides itself on providing superior support for an exceptional group ofcompanies. Palisades Holdings Inc. represents a network of dedicated companiesspecializing in the fabrication and distribution of high-end specialty alloyproducts for key end-use markets.

Following all regulatory andaccounting guidelines, the Accountant will assist in the preparation offinancial statements and tax returns for multiple entities under thesupervision of the Controller.As a minimum, thefollowing is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilitiesexpected of the Accountant. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject tochange as the needs of the organization require.

• Assist in producing accurate and timely financial statements
