Job summary

Global Channel Management is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, controls, and policy implementation. You will supervise accounting staff, ensure timely close, and advise senior management on compliance and regulatory matters.

The role requires a 4-year degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years in a management position. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and training personnel is essential. Competitive hourly compensation at $147 per hour.

Qualifications

• Directs and/or manages activities of accounting in accordance with accounting principles, practices and procedures.
• Directs, oversees or manages the development, modification, review and implementation of accounting systems, reporting methods and controls, policies and procedures.
• Formulates and administers approved accounting practices throughout the organization to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business.
• Trains personnel in accounting procedures, theories and reporting requirements.

• Directs and provides (or may assist in providing) strategic direction for the accounting function of a division or business-operating unit.

• Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
• Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Frequently interacts with functional peer groups.
• Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others. Provides direct supervision to individual contributors and/or subordinate supervisors.
• Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
• Must have 4 year degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years of experience in management role.
