Role Overview

The Account Supervisor will lead client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing solutions that align with client objectives. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of marketing trends, especially related to paid media.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
  2. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans tailored to client needs.
  3. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Responsible for budget and P&L management across all projects and clients to deliver against assigned agency targets.
  5. Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development across assigned book of business.
  6. Lead and mentor account managers and coordinators.
  7. Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  8. Ensure all campaigns have measurable goals and priorities in place for each campaign and gain client agreement.
  9. Manage client communication on a day-to-day basis as needed across assigned book of business. Prepare agendas, ensure clear understanding of performance data, insights and opportunities before presenting to clients. Follow meetings with notes and action items and distribute to client and internal teams.
  10. Know your customer inside out and become the ‘customer champion’ within the agency. Demonstrate an understanding of your client’s business as a whole in your day to day communications with them and with your colleagues internally.
  11. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication and expectation setting/management.
  12. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of SEO principles as well as paid media campaign management and analysis across the following channels: Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, & LinkedIn), Paid Search, Google Shopping & YouTube.
  13. Ensure processes are followed and any barriers and issues are smoothly resolved with client and/or team.
  14. Work with a sense of urgency, respecting your client’s and the agency’s timelines.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency.
  2. Proven track record of managing a book of business across performance marketing tactics.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
