Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales support or customer service.
• Ability to coordinate across purchasing, operations, and branch teams to resolve requests quickly.
• Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a responsive, follow-through-oriented work style.
• Proficiency in CRM and ERP order-entry systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary daily contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Maintain working knowledge of each account to cover gaps when needed.
• Process and track quotes, orders, and service requests from receipt through fulfillment.
• Coordinate with branch teams, sales, purchasing, operations, and suppliers to source product and meet lead times.
• Monitor open orders and backorders; communicate delivery-date changes and alternatives.
• Respond to inquiries within service-level expectations; escalate when needed.
• Surface information to the account's sales owner for follow-up.
• Apply pricing, contract terms, and customer programs accurately.
• Own day-to-day issue resolution and document in CRM/ERP; travel occasionally for in-office support.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing operational capabilities.
