tastytrade is seeking an Account Specialist I in Chicago, IL for in-person work three days a week. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, processing documentation, and supporting KYC/AML compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Key trainings cover account types, regulatory requirements, and processing procedures. Familiarity with banking and brokerage workflows, strong attention to detail, and readiness to advance toward more senior roles are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience is required or preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service mindset.
• Detail-oriented with ability to learn regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process new account applications for various accounts with accuracy.
• Perform CIP and verify identity per CIP requirements.
• Support ongoing due diligence and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Provide accurate customer support via chat, email, and phone.
• Document interactions thoroughly in Salesforce.
