Job summary

Westinghouse Staffing Services is seeking an Account Specialist on behalf of our client for a 5-month contract (W-2) in Houston, TX. The role focuses on data entry, trend analysis, and creating reporting around each function, with invoicing and billing responsibilities across ERCOT and Northeast markets.

You will conduct operational analyses to support decision-making, work on medium to large projects, and report to the onsite Manager. Onsite hours are 7:30am-4pm, location Houston, TX 77002.

About the role:

Location: onsite: Houston, Texas 77002

We're looking for an Account Specialist on behalf of our client. This is a 5-month contract assignment. (W-2) You will be responsible for data entry, analyzing trends to business processes and identifying and facilitating the creation of reporting around each function. You will serve in assisting in areas of invoicing and managing complex aggregation customers in both ERCOT and Northeast markets, operational and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing of our client's customers.

You will conduct operational analyses that support informed decision-making within the department. Main responsibilities include data entry and documentation, medium to large special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. Individuals in this role apply standardized tools and techniques. You will report to the onsite Manager.

Location: onsite: Houston, Texas 77002. Work Hours: 7:30am-4pm

5-month contract assignment. (W-2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Participates in identifying and recommending process improvement solutions for increased overall performance, and capability
• Prepares spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), graphics, and word documents for tracking, reporting, documentation, and presentations
• Will take a leadership role to create a custom solution with a detailed understanding of internal processes. This includes process definition, SLA creation and implementation, and streamlining.
• Collaborate across all internal departments to proactively identify, document, develop and improve system and process gaps.
• Provide information to Management staff on deliverables and status updates
• Maintain and exceed service level agreements regarding billing and transactional functions
• Ensures compliance of rules and regulations across all customer segments in all states
• Help create process documentation across markets
