Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Account Specialist for our Lebanon, OH branch (1650 Kingsview Dr, Lebanon, OH 45036). The role focuses on enhancing sales and delivering superior customer service to key accounts, aligned with branch goals.

You will develop local sales plans, support day-to-day branch operations, and grow an assigned book of business while working in a fast-paced environment with a strong team. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business/Marketing or related industry knowledge of the local market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

OVERVIEW:

Elevate your career as a Full-time Account Specialist, where you can take your sales and customer service skills to the next level. You'll be on the front lines of growing and supporting our branch key accounts, through building relationships and matching products and solutions to customer needs. This position is for our branch located at 1650 Kingsview Dr, Lebanon, OH 45036.

• Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals
• Supporting the day-to-day needs of the branch's key accounts
• Working directly with key accounts
• Growing and maintaining an assigned book of business
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
