Job Description

For over 100 years, Nordstrom has built a reputation for Legendary Customer Service. As an Account Services Specialist, you will be an ambassador for Nordstrom, handling inbound and outbound phone calls from customers in a virtual environment.

This role is fully remote, working from home, with candidate location restrictions applying. Nordstrom is hiring in Utah.

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday 5:55am-7pm PST, Friday 5:55am – 6:00pm PST, Saturday 5:55am – 4:00pm PST, Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm PST

Shifts

• Full-time positions
• Start times vary based on business needs
• At least one weekend day per week work expected
• Schedule flexibility and potential overtime during peak times and holidays required

Orientation and Training

• Orientation: 1 week (Tuesday – Friday)
• Training: Must complete a training program (Monday – Friday)

Compensation and Benefits

• Eligible for incentives
• Shift differential pay available
• $50/month work-from-home subsidy

Daily Responsibilities

• Service past due accounts via calls
• Follow relevant collection guidelines
• Negotiate payment solutions to generate revenue
• Use consultative approach to promote future card usage
• Assist with card services inbound calls as needed
• Utilize tools and knowledge bases to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications

• 6+ months collection-related experience and/or first-party collections preferred
• 6+ months customer service experience required
• Ability to obtain Minnesota debt collector license
• High volume call handling with accuracy and customer focus
• Quiet, secure, distraction-free workspace
• Ability to work at a desk with a computer, headset, and camera when needed
• Self-motivated, autonomous work style in a virtual environment
• Strong technical skills and multi-system navigation
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Integrity and confidentiality awareness
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexible schedule availability
