What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to service past due accounts
- Adhere to state and federal collection guidelines
- Negotiate payment solutions to generate revenue
- Encourage future card usage through a consultative approach
- Assist in the customer service call center as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Ability to be licensed as a debt collector in the state of Minnesota
- Experience handling a high volume of calls with attention to detail
- Must have a quiet, secure workspace free from distractions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ months of experience in collections, particularly first-party collections
- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills and proficiency in navigating multiple systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
