Account Service Representative (Personal Banker)

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking an Account Service Representative (Personal Banker) to assist with daily retail operations at the St. Matthews Office, Louisville, KY. Candidates should possess excellent service skills, professionalism, confidentiality, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities. Prior credit union or financial institution experience is preferred. Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating basis is required. An initial paid training program in Evansville, IN, may be provided.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Serve as a primary Account Service Representative, meeting with members to determine their banking needs, assist with enrolling in products/services, and maintain knowledge of credit union policies and procedures.
2. Assist members with certificates, IRA, and HSA accounts, serve as a Notary Public, and handle safe deposit boxes.
3. Act as a Consumer Loan Processor, helping members with lending needs and ensuring accurate documentation.
4. Support branch operations as a backup Teller/MSR, perform transactions, balance cash, and answer inquiries.
5. Participate in rotating office opening/closing, Saturday management, and record-keeping duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old.
• Flexible schedule, ability to travel to other locations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• 1-2 years of cash handling experience; banking experience preferred.
