Total Quality Logistics is seeking an Account Representative in Detroit/Troy, MI. This role focuses on supporting an established sales team, building relationships with customers, and driving revenue in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

You will learn the logistics industry through an accelerated training program and then work to grow new and existing business by presenting transportation services and resolving freight issues 24/7/365.

More than just an entry level sales role, you will be responsible for supporting and working with an established sales team to identify areas of opportunity with their customers to drive revenue. No experience necessary; you will start your career in an accelerated training program to learn the logistics industry. Once training is complete, you focus on growing new and existing business by presenting TQL customers with our transportation services and handling freight issues 24/7/365.

What you’ll do:

• Communicate with the sales team and customers as the subject matter expert to build and maintain relationships
• Manage projects from start to finish while overseeing daily shipments and resolve issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
• Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing
• Input, update and manage shipment information in our state-of-the-art systems
• Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly
• Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
