Doug Valentine - State Farm Agent in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Account Representative to support daily operations, grow the agency through meaningful customer relations, and act as a liaison between customer needs and the agency departments.

You will market relevant insurance and financial products, provide prompt service, and handle inquiries about coverages, billing, claims, and policy changes while building lasting relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside, inside, or retail) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs and relate to customers.
• Property & Casualty license required.

You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
