Job summary

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an Account Representative - Self Pay Collector to work in our Avon Business office. This representative will be responsible for completing accurate billing processes and collecting self-pay balances.

Candidates must currently reside in Indiana or be willing to relocate. This position will require in-office attendance during the initial training period, with the possible opportunity for a hybrid work schedule thereafter.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in computerized medical billing, coding, and collections.
• Knowledge of third-party payers, billing requirements, and reimbursement methods.
• Experience with spreadsheets and word processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes claims in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Makes telephone inquiries on delinquent claims.
• Interacts with consumers in a polite and respectful manner.
• Ensures confidentiality of consumer records.
• Other duties as assigned.
