Job description

Lapeyre Stair has an opening for a remote Account Representative.

Lapeyre Stair constructs precision-built metal stair systems using a state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing system. The Lapeyre Stair product line includes Alternating Tread stairs, Steel Egress stairs (welded and bolted) as well as crossover systems, exit and intermediate platforms, and safety gates. Lapeyre Stair is one of four operating divisions of Laitram, L.L.C. and offers an unparalleled opportunity for those who want to work for an established, yet growing company in the private sector. Responsibilities

• Service inbound customer requests for quotes and orders through multiple channels of communication

• Assist customers with accurate transactions and industry specific product information

• Provide technical assistance for Lapeyre stair products and services

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Utilize telephone sales and support skills to create interest and offer value-added products and services to customers

• Build and expand customer relationships and help ensure replacement and increased business.

• Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to Co-manage accounts in coordination with multiple team resources

Requirements

• College degree or comparable working experience in customer service, sales or as a technical representative.

• 2+ years in a customer service or sales role

• Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, HubSpot preferred

• Strong mathematical and technical aptitude

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, along with a pleasant & professional phone manner

• Ability to travel for 1 trade show annually

• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills

Desired qualifications

• Experience working in support of the construction or manufacturing environment
