Job Description

BuildingPoint Pacific seeks an Account Representative - Field Solutions who can be based anywhere within our geographic territory, with potential relocation if needed.

Summary

This role manages BPP sales opportunities for Trimble GC/CM Field Solutions in the assigned territory. The candidate will sell hardware and services, grow the business with existing key accounts, and expand the customer base. The position requires over 50% travel to customer sites.

Essential Job Functions
  • Meet sales quotas by increasing sales to existing accounts and acquiring new ones.
  • Enhance customer knowledge of Trimble GC/CM products.
  • Sell products like Robotic Total Stations, 3D Lasers, Handheld Scanners, Software, and VDC services.
  • Cross-sell products within our portfolio.
  • Plan and forecast sales activities and resource needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to communicate market feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals.
  • Coordinate with sales management and technical support.
  • Engage with stakeholders to explain solutions and benefits.
  • Handle objections and understand customer needs thoroughly.
  • Maintain strong customer relations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for prospect and customer management.
  • Identify metrics like ROI and cost savings to support project funding.
  • Monitor team activity to ensure quality customer service.
  • Operate company or personal vehicle as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, plus at least five years of technology sales experience, especially with large deals and partner collaboration, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of design-to-construction processes, BIM, and familiarity with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble Realworks, and Navisworks is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience and location. The role includes a commission plan and total compensation package.
