Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Collections Representative in Las Vegas, NV to support customers with past-due accounts. You’ll handle inbound and outbound calls, set up payment plans, and negotiate resolutions while maintaining accurate records.

Join a fast-paced team focused on reducing delinquency and protecting confidential information. A minimum of one year in consumer collections and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• One year of consumer collections experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and collection laws.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with professional phone presence.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications and MS Office.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with past-due accounts.
• Set up payments or payment plans to resolve past-due balances.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting performance goals.
• Maintain detailed, accurate notes on all customer interactions and actions.
• Communicate clearly with customers, teammates, and management to resolve issues.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when needed.
• Contribute to department goals by reducing delinquency and ensuring compliance.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced team environment.
• Protect confidential information related to customers and company operations.

• Base Pay:
• $20.00 per hour plus bonus potential of up to $3,000 monthlybased on individual and team performance.
• *Incentive:
• If the department exceeds its goal, eligible agents in the bonus range will receive a "kicker" ranging from $100.00 to $750.00, based on goal achievement.

What You’ll Do:

As aCollections Representative, you’ll play an important role in helping customers get back on track with their accounts while supporting Wilshire Consumer’s success. You’ll use technology, communication, and problem-solving skills to assist customers who are31+ days past dueand help prevent loan losses through smart, compassionate collection efforts.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls— providing friendly, professional support and following company policies and procedures.
• Reach out to customersto set up payments or create plans to resolve past-due accounts.
• Negotiate fair payment solutionswhile meeting performance and productivity goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate noteson all customer interactions and account actions.
• Listen actively and communicate clearlywith customers, teammates, and management to resolve concerns and ensure a positive experience.
• Use skip-tracing toolsto locate customers or collateral when needed.
• Work toward department goalsby helping reduce delinquency rates and maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Manage a high volume of callsin a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
• Protect confidential informationrelated to customers, accounts, and company operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and negotiation skillswith a professional phone presence.

• Understanding of collection laws, including theFair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Proficient with computers— comfortable with data entry, web-based applications, and Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
• Excellent telephone etiquetteand ability to connect with customers respectfully.
• Team playerwith a positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
• At least one year of consumer collections experiencein a high call-volume, auto-dialer environment.
