Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking independent life insurance sales agents to work remotely as 1099 contractors. If you've worked in banking or lending, you know how to discuss money decisions carefully and help families explore options with multiple carriers.

This role provides exclusive leads, access to 43 carriers, mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and regular team calls. You can set your schedule, handle disclosures precisely, and work toward compliant underwriting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
• Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
• Hold a state life insurance license or plan to obtain licensing before first sale.
• Self-directed, planning your day and follow-up.
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Contact people who requested life insurance information and book appointments.
