Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a reliable Account Representative to support our healthcare clients from our Cherry Hill, NJ office.

This role involves direct patient interaction, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and acting as a key liaison between hospitals, insurance providers, and internal teams to advocate for patients and assist with medical financial resources.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time hours, and a benefits package including PTO, insurance, and a 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with applying for medical assistance and benefit programs

• Work collaboratively with patients, physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical providers, and insurance companies
• Accurately document patient interactions and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
• Perform administrative and account management duties related to patient eligibility and financial assistance
• Perform other related duties as assigned

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working directly with patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and serving as a key liaison between hospitals, insurance providers, and internal teams. The Account Representative plays an essential role in patient advocacy and medical assistance support.

Founded in 2000, PATHS employs approximately 400 team members across four offices in PA, NJ, and DE, supporting more than 100 healthcare clients. Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with applying for medical assistance and benefit programs
• Counsel patients on medical bills, insurance coverage, and available financial resources

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

• Comfortable working in healthcare environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a healthcare facility
• Insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, or revenue cycle experience
• Patient advocacy or social work background

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
• Occasional movement within healthcare facilities as needed
• Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds

Pre-Employment Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

$17-$19 per hour based on experience.
