AVANCEON is seeking an Account Payable / Account Manager Controller who enjoys building new relationships with the top leadership of growing companies. You will process, record and reconcile financial transactions, review accounts payable, and support month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Process, record and reconcile AP, cash disbursements, billings and receipts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including collections supervision.
• Review fixed assets and tax compliance (sales, use, personal property, franchise).
• Prepare day-to-day and month-end close entries including payroll, fringe, allocations.
• Develop understanding of each client's accounting operations and software.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing, recording andreconciling financial transactions including the review of accountspayable, cash disbursements, billings and cash receipts, assisting withthe month-end and year-end closing process, including the supervision ofcollections, and the review of fixed assets, sales and use taxes,personal property taxes, and franchise taxes, preparing day-to-day andmonth end close entries including payroll administration, fringe,investment allocations, and grant allocations, developing andmaintaining an understanding of the accounting operations within eachassigned client, obtaining a working knowledge of the client'saccounting software packages.

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree. in Accounting
• 3 - 7 years accounting or finance experience
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, withdemonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, clients andcolleagues
