Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking an Account Opening Specialist to join Fidelity Charitable in Durham, NC. You will process new account openings, review documents for completeness, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality service to CIAP advisors.

The role requires 2+ years in account opening or client onboarding within financial services, strong communication, data accuracy, and experience with Salesforce, Wealthscape, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in account opening or client onboarding within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client experiences with urgency and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interface with partners and clients.
• Experience with Salesforce, Wealthscape, and MS Office tools.
• Ability to multitask and meet SLAs in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process new account openings per internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Review client-submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain high-quality data entry and account setup in core systems.
• Track account opening progress and ensure SLAs are met using workflow tools.
• Suggest operational improvements to the process and client experience.
• Collaborate with internal Charitable partners to fulfill special handling requests.
• Raise risk-related concerns and documentation issues promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service to strengthen donor/advisor relationships.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and cross-functional initiatives.
