Account Manager, Transplant Diagnostics - Western US /Canada

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager, Transplant Diagnostics - Western US /Canada.

Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri)

Environmental Conditions: Office-based

This role supports the Transplant Diagnostics Division within the Specialty Diagnostics Group. We are dedicated to advancing transplant diagnostics and enhancing patient care, aligning with our mission to make the world cleaner, healthier, and safer.

Location: Remote, in CA, CO, WA, MN, or Western Canada.

How will you make an impact?

You will grow the Transplant Diagnostics business in existing and prospective accounts within your assigned region, managing opportunities from demand creation to closure and implementation to surpass revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop demand and increase adoption of assays and instruments.
  • Lead strategic efforts to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Build relationships with technical support teams and customers to boost sales and loyalty.
  • Communicate product value to various decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive internal and external relationships.
  • Identify and develop new customer opportunities to build a sales pipeline.
  • Navigate complex customer situations and configure solutions.
  • Manage communication between customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific personnel to ensure successful implementations.
  • Collaborate internally to enhance customer experience.
  • Perform territory management and administrative duties.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast accurately to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Complete required training on time and uphold company values and integrity.
  • Travel for customer meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an HLA or Molecular Laboratory OR related sales experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Customer-focused with strategic sales skills.
  • Data-driven and analytical with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and willing to travel.
  • Understanding of transplant diagnostics market trends and customer workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and laboratory customer segments.
  • Ability to tailor sales approaches to clinical and non-clinical audiences, including C-suite.
  • Experience with demand creation and large account management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.

Compensation:

Estimated salary range in Colorado: $80,000–$115,000.
