Hotchkiss Insurance is seeking a Select Business Unit Account Manager to service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients and be the primary contact for renewals, coverage requests, and underwriting compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Commercial Lines Account Management, a Property & Casualty license, and proficiency with Applied Systems and Microsoft Office. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for your assigned book of business.
• Assess renewal requests for underwriting compliance and provide guidance.

• Work with Sales Consultants to maintain a high client retention rate.
• Handle client requests and correspondence for assigned accounts as needed.
• Stay current on rates, forms, and coverage changes and learn the submission process.

Position Summary

The Select Business Unit Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact, addressing client needs, processing renewals, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance coveragesand industry trends, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all service needs of your assigned book of business.
• Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
• Work with Account Associates to ensure tasks related to assigned accounts, including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums are handled properly.
• Focus on client retention, working collaboratively with the Sales Consultantto ensure a high retention rate.
• Manage customerrequests and correspondence related to assigned clients, covering desks for the team as needed.
• Stay informed aboutrates, forms, and coverage changes, and acquireknowledge of the company's submissions and proposals process for policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Property & Casualty insurance license required
• 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management Experience
• Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
