Clark National Accounts is seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team within our Restaurant & Retail segment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with high-impact clients, ensuring their continued success while identifying opportunities to grow our partnerships. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex accounts with professionalism, insight, and a deep commitment to service.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key clients
- Manage accounts with an ownership mindset, treating each relationship as a business within the business
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth by recommending new solutions and services
- Analyze account performance data to monitor revenue and margins, proactively driving improvement
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key customers to align on goals and performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to support project-specific requirements and deliverables
- Develop and present quotes for large-scale project requests; negotiate pricing and terms as needed
- Oversee customer projects to ensure expectations are clearly understood and consistently met
- Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving service and performance
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to enhance account planning and decision-making
- Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events as needed
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Remote Work Qualifications
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
- Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only.
Experience
- Proven success in sales, account management, or business development, with a strong track record of driving account growth
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales forecasts, goals, and performance metrics
- Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms
- Willingness to travel periodically for client meetings, presentations, and industry events
Education
- This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
