Job summary

Builders Insurance Group in Atlanta is seeking an Account Manager for the Reinsurance and Specialty Business team. You will oversee active programs, coordinate with TPAs, brokers, and reinsurers, and support underwriting, claims, and reporting.

You will monitor performance, prepare status reports, assist in renewal negotiations, ensure compliance, and maintain strong relationships with program stakeholders. A Bachelor's in Risk Management and 3+ years insurance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related discipline.
• Three or more years of insurance experience in programs and reinsurance areas.
• Knowledge of accounting, law, insurance, and corporate processes.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure with attention to detail.
• On-site availability at company HQ and ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; familiarity with standard software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Specialty team's active business with internal and external partners.
• Assist leadership in strategic development and renewal of Specialty coverages.
• Monitor program performance, provide status reports, and conduct meetings.
• Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Prepare contracts aligned with financial resources and obligations.
• Develop proposals and facilitate resolution actions for active programs.
• Ensure program compliance, robust reporting, and optimal performance.
• Serve as liaison between the Company and program stakeholders.
• Participate in department training and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
